Offaly West
is a community owned and managed development which has grown out of the
parishes of Banagher and Lusmagh.
Eatablished in the
year 1989, Offaly West aimed to examine potential economic, social, cultural
and environmental projects in the Banagher area. Offaly West is registered
as a community co-operative with the Registry of Friendly Societies.
The Board Of Management
of Offaly West is elected each year at the AGM. The majority of shareholders
are local residents with one vote per shareholder regardless of the number
of shares held.

Over the
last few years, Offaly West have been running training courses
in tourism, computers and marketing.Funded by FAS, the course
syllabus is designed and managed Offaly West. These courses
have been very successful and have had a high placement following
training. Services now available in Crank House- Offaly West
runs a competively priced office service- photocopying, word
processing, faxing, colour printing, charts, graphs and report
production.Competitive rates and discounts are available for
repeat and large orders.
